jamil nasim is an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores Black diasporic life, identity, and community, drawing from their family's ties to the Black Panthers and Black Arts Movement. Their exhibitions, Quiet As Kept and Now Ain’t Some Day Yet, have been featured at venues like the De Young Museum and Root Division. As an arts organizer and educator, nasim supports marginalized artists through programs and exhibitions, continuing to expand opportunities for BIPOC voices.
