Join the Bay Area quartet Vernaculars (Karl Evangelista, Francis Wong, Chris Trinidad, Jimmy Bialia) for a captivating evening exploring shared histories in music, drawing from jazz and creative music to urban and tribal vocabularies, leading to inspirations for flights into the future. Together, they find inspiration in their diasporic identities and give voice to these through original compositions contributed by each member of the band. This evening's performance will center on Wong Works!, celebrating the compositions & influential music of Asian Improv aRts Co-founder Francis Wong.
