Vinay Patel

Vinay Patel has over a decade as an arts administrator and has been a critical factor in the growth of Asian Improv aRts.  Patel started with AIR in 1999 and served as former administrative director where he found a place to express his passion for supporting artists, advocating for the underserved and building community though the arts. He now serves as executive director of API Cultural Center. He has been an arts advocate (as a co-founder and a coordinator of the California Asian American and Pacific Islander Arts Network, Committees for San Francisco’s Prop S and E), producer (from local to international concerts, festivals, tours, recordings) and organizational development consultant.
